FAQs Promo codes

1. Where can I create and manage promo codes in my panel?

Go to Bookings > Promo Code in the left-hand menu of your supplier panel. There you can see all promo codes, create new ones, or edit existing ones.

2. What’s the difference between Fulfillment Date and Purchase Date?

  • Fulfillment Date refers to the period during which the tour must take place for the promo to apply.

  • Purchase Date is optional and defines when the customer must book the tour in order to use the promo code.

3. Can I apply a promo code only on certain days of the week?

Yes. While setting the Fulfillment Date, you can select specific days like Mon–Fri only, or weekends — depending on your campaign.

4. What is the usage limit, and what happens when it’s reached?

The Limit field sets the maximum number of times the code can be used (e.g., 100).
Once the usage reaches this limit, the promo code becomes automatically inactive.

5. Can I apply the same promo code to multiple products?

Yes. When creating a promo code, you can select one or more products it applies to by ticking their boxes in the Select Products section.

6. Can I edit a promo code after creating it?

Yes. Use the Actions dropdown menu next to any promo code to edit, deactivate, or delete it.
Note: Be careful editing a promo that is already in use — changes will affect all future users.

7. How long should a promo code be? What characters are allowed?

Promo codes must be between 8–20 uppercase English letters. No numbers, symbols, or lowercase letters.
Example: SUMMER2025
Invalid: Summer_25, summer2025, SUMMER-25

8. What happens if I forget to set a Purchase Date?

If you leave the Purchase Date section blank, the promo code will be usable at any time, as long as the Fulfillment Dates are valid.

9. Why is my promo code not working even though it's active?

Common reasons:

  • The customer is booking outside the Purchase Date range.

  • The Fulfillment Date doesn't match the tour date.

  • The promo code has reached its usage limit.

  • The code was not applied to the selected product.

  • The promo is inactive.

10. Can I use the same code for multiple campaigns?

It is not recommended. Always use unique promo codes for each campaign to avoid confusion and ensure accurate tracking.

11. Can I deactivate a promo code temporarily?

Yes. Use the Actions > Deactivate option. This disables the promo without deleting it. You can activate it again later.

12. What happens if I delete a promo code?

Once deleted, the promo code is permanently removed from your panel. It cannot be restored. Use Deactivate if you may need it later.

13. Can customers use the promo code more than once?

Only if the limit allows multiple uses and no restriction is set per user.
If you want one-time use per customer, this must be manually tracked externally or developed as a custom rule.

14. Is there a way to preview how a promo will look to customers?

No public preview is shown. Customers enter the promo code at checkout, and it is validated based on your settings.

15. Can I apply multiple promo codes to the same product?

Only one promo code can be used per booking.
If multiple codes apply to the same product, only the one entered by the customer will take effect.
