How to Add and Manage Users

Modified on Wed, 23 Jul, 2025 at 2:07 PM

Panel Path: Supplier Panel → Settings → Users

The Users section allows you to manage your company’s team members who have access to the supplier panel. You can add new users (such as Admins, Staff, or Guides), assign roles, and control access rights.

Adding New Users

To add a new user:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Users

  2. Click the “Add new user” button (top-right corner)

  3. Fill in the following fields in the form:

    • Email Address (must be valid and unique)

    • Password

    • First Name / Last Name

    • Job Title (e.g., CEO / Owner, Guide / Driver)

    • Role (choose from: Admin, Supplier Guide, Finance, etc.)

  4. Click “Add Item” to save and send the invitation.

New users will receive an activation email with login credentials.

Editing, Resetting Password, or Deleting a User

Next to each user, you’ll find the “Action” dropdown:

  • Update – Edit the user's profile or role

  • Reset Password – Send password reset email

  • Delete – Permanently remove a user from the panel

Deleting a user is irreversible. Make sure the user does not have active tasks assigned.

Access Restriction Options

Currently, Tourzone offers the following restrictions:

  • Panel-based restriction – Limit user access only to certain tabs (e.g., no access to Finance)

  • Role-based view – Users only see features related to their assigned role

  • IP-based access (optional) – If required, IP restrictions can be configured manually by contacting support

Tips

  • Use unique emails per user for better tracking and security.

  • Make sure guides have the correct role (Supplier Guide) to see only operational features.

  • Regularly review user access and deactivate accounts that are no longer active.
